As already reported, the site «Zbirna» conducted a traditional annual referendum for the best player of the Ukrainian championship, reminiscent of the times of the newspaper «Komanda». Today, the source reported how the votes went in Kyiv’s «Dynamo».
The third place went to forward Vladyslav Vanat, who scored 19 goals over the year and currently leads the list of the league's top scorers, successfully defending the title of top goalscorer.
The second position went to midfielder Volodymyr Brazhko, who was voted for by 11 teammates. Notably, this player was mentioned several times in the ballots by the head coaches of teams. In particular, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi, Yurii Vernydub, Vladyslav Lupashko, Vitalii Ponomariov, Mladen Bartulovic, and Andres Carrasco. And the recognition from coaches is invaluable.
Meanwhile, the winner of the Dynamo poll was one of the team's leaders Mykola Shaparenko, who received seven first places and four second from his teammates. In the past year, the midfielder scored nine goals and assisted partners 17 times, counting statistics from both Dynamo and the Ukrainian national team.
Additionally, according to the rules of the referendum, 15 players and the head coach of each UPL team participate in it.
