The behavior of Shakhtar Donetsk’s head coach Marino Pushich after the match of the 17th round of the Ukrainian championship against Zhytomyr’s Polesie (0:1), where he demonstratively refused the traditional post-match handshake with the opponent’s coach Imad Ashur, did not go unnoticed.
The Control and Disciplinary Committee of UAF decided to fine "Shakhtar" 10 thousand UAH due to the incident with the wording "for violating regulatory norms, namely the handshake between the head coaches of the teams near the substitutes’ benches after the match".
Similar fines of the same amount were imposed on Kryvyi Rih’s "Kryvbas" and Lviv’s "Karpaty", whose head coaches (Yuriy Vernydub and Vladislav Lupashko respectively) refused to shake hands before and after the match between these teams in the 17th round of the Ukrainian championship.
