The football confrontation ended in a goalless draw. Ukrainian Yegor Yarmolyuk started the match on the bench for "Brentford," but came onto the field in the 72nd minute.

In one of the episodes, in the 75th minute (in the video 1:30 — note.), "Brighton" player Joao Pedro attempted to deliberately elbow the Ukrainian in the face. The forward failed to harm Yegor, but the VAR representatives decided to draw the main referee's attention to this episode. The referee ignored the situation, leaving Joao Pedro without a card.
