Former chief scout of Manchester United Mick Brown assessed the likelihood of a transfer for Ukrainian defender Ilya Zabarny from Bournemouth this winter.
„If Bournemouth receives a really big offer for Zabarny, then I think they will let him go. And for clubs like Manchester City and PSG, such offers are affordable; they always operate with large sums in transfers.
„City“ wanted to improve the quality of their defense, and Zabarny is young and already has experience playing at a high level. He has been really impressive this season. So the Ukrainian definitely fits their profile,” Brown said in a comment to Football Insider.
Let us remind you that recently Zabarny signed a new agreement with Bournemouth until summer 2029. According to media reports, he is interesting to French PSG, English Liverpool and Tottenham, as well as Spanish Real Madrid. It was also reported that Bournemouth is ready to part ways with the Ukrainian for 60 million euros.
