Former midfielder of Kyiv’s Dynamo, Beniamin Verbich, who left the Greek Panathinaikos in December (the parties mutually terminated the contract by mutual agreement) and is now a free agent, has decided on his next club.
According to Greek media, the 31-year-old Slovenian is very close to continuing his career at Cypriot APOEL.
Verbich has already declined an offer from his home team, Slovenian Celje, preferring to continue his career in a more competitive environment, and APOEL offers him such an opportunity: the Cypriot team advanced to the playoff round of the current season's Conference League, which attracts the former Dynamo player.
