The head coach of Lviv’s “Rukh” Vitaliy Ponomaryov commented on the potential of his team’s defender Oleksii Sych, who received a national team debut call-up in November.
“It was clear that Oleksii has the potential to play for the Ukraine national team. It was necessary to develop his playing qualities and for the player to be confident in his abilities. I believe that Sych can progress further and reveal himself even better. For this, he should set new goals and work even harder. Oleksii has all the qualities to play in top leagues, and I hope he brings these dreams to life.
Oleksii Sych's call-up was a positive impetus for the entire club, as he is the first player from “Rukh” to be called up to the Ukraine national team. Now he is an example for all the footballers in the club and especially for the players who play for the Ukraine U21 national team. The guys understand that they also have a chance to get into the national team,”— quotes Ponomaryov’s words the official website of “Rukh”.
