The Ethics Committee of the Football Federation of Iran fined Esteghlal defender Ramin Rezaeian for hugging a fan, Khabaronline reports.

According to the source, the fan entered the Esteghlal team bus and hugged the player before the match against Chadormalu in the Iranian championship on December 26.

34-year-old Rezaeian attended the ethics committee meeting, where it was decided to fine him 510 million Iranian rials (51 thousand hryvnias).

The defender has played 65 matches for the Iranian national team. In Europe, he played for Turkish Rizespor and Belgian Oostende.
