Alexander Yatsik (2003) — Ukrainian footballer, central midfielder of Kyiv’s “Dynamo” and the Ukrainian youth national team. Previously played for the U-19 team, but has already debuted for the first team of the capital club. Currently, he plays on loan for “Zarya”.
Anatoly Pilipchuk (1944−1997) — former forward. Known for his performances with Kyiv’s “Dynamo”. Also represented the colors of Donetsk’s “Shakhtar” and “Dnipro”.
Yuri Sak (1967) — former Ukrainian footballer who played as a midfielder. He once represented “Chornomorets”, “Metallurg”, and “Obolon”. He played 10 matches for the Ukrainian national team, scoring 1 goal. After his playing career, he worked as a coach at “Kryvbas” and “Vorskla”, “Gornyak-Sport”.
Lee Bowyer (1977) — former English midfielder who ended his playing career in 2011. He played for numerous English clubs, including “Leeds”, “Newcastle”, and “West Ham”. He holds the record for the most yellow cards received in the English Premier League.
Additionally, on January 3, 2000, Victor Kolotov passed away — a legendary midfielder who played for “Dynamo” from 1971 to 1981. He was part of the coaching staff of the Kyiv team from 1984 to 1992. In his honor, Kyiv’s “Dynamo” annually holds a tournament in memory of the outstanding captain of the “white-blues”.
