The former player of Kryvyi Rih's Kryvbas, warrior Serhii Storozhev, has passed away, reports the official website of the club.
Serhii was born on July 9, 1980. In his youth, he trained at the "Kryvbas-84" school. In 1998, he signed his first professional contract with his hometown club. He played 1 match for the main team in the top league at the age of 18. He became the holder of the bronze medals of the 1998\\1999 season. He played for the reserve team of the Kryvyi Rih team in the second league for two years — 55 matches\\13 goals, thereby setting the record for "Kryvbas-2" for the number of games played.
After that, he played for a number of second league clubs and in the amateur championship. The former footballer took up the defense of Ukraine immediately after the full-scale invasion of Russian occupiers. For almost three years, he defended our independence.
