On Monday, January 6, the winter training camp of Kyiv’s «Dynamo» began, which this year the team is holding in Turkey.
The location of the winter training camp for the Kyivans remains the same as last year. The team is based and trains at the same hotel near Belek. However, this year the camp started unusually early. This is related to the team's participation in European competitions, which are being held in a new format from this season. It should be noted that in January the team will play two Europa League matches—against Turkish «Galatasaray» (January 21) and Latvian RFS (January 30). This year’s camp will be lengthy and will continue after the European matches—until the start of the second part of the UPL.
Currently, the «white-blues» have scheduled four friendly matches—against German «Magdeburg» (January 10), Romanian FCSB (January 12), Polish «Widzew» (January 13), and Bulgarian «CSKA 1948» (January 16).
On Sunday, January 5, the Dynamo players spent the whole day on the road, leaving the club base in Vita-Lytovska early in the morning and arriving at the hotel late in the evening. On Monday, the team held two training sessions on a field that is well-known from last year’s camps.
The morning session was filled with running work, during which the players performed brief exercises with the ball. Before starting their work, the players arranged a welcoming corridor for the birthday celebrants of these days—Vladyslav Vanat and Vitalii Buialskyi.
The evening training was more intense and varied. After warming up, the field players worked separately from the goalkeepers, who performed special exercises under the guidance of Mykhailo Mykhailov.
As part of a game exercise on two mini-fields with small goals, the field players were divided into four teams and held a mini-tournament.
The work in the mode of two training sessions will continue in the coming days of this training camp.
