In June 2024, the Ukrainian Football Association and FC Manchester City signed an agreement for the training and internship of Ukrainian coaches.
The UAF formed a team of 25 coaches and like-minded individuals who support the UAF philosophy, whose goals and tasks are aimed at the quality upbringing of young footballers through modern training methodologies to elevate our football to the highest international level through the preparation of high-level players for both club teams and youth, junior and national teams of Ukraine.
The opportunity to intern in England was given to the children's coach of FC Minaj, Ihor Kladov, who works with players of the 2013 and 2015 birth years.
“I am very happy to have such an opportunity to intern abroad in a great club like Manchester City. This is a real event for me. I will use the entire learning time 100%. It’s incredible—there’s no other way to say it. I dream of making a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian football with my work,” quotes Kladov the official website of Minaj.
