The move of Poltava Vorskla defender to Donetsk Shakhtar, which in recent days was discussed as almost complete, fell through.
According to the Telegram channel "TaToTake", initially the 20-year-old footballer had two offers - from Shakhtar and from First League Metalist 1925 from Kharkiv.
According to the source, the day before yesterday both clubs made an offer to Vorskla in the amount of 2.5 million euros. But yesterday morning it was Metalist 1925 that first activated the clause (buyout amount) in Krupsky's contract with Vorskla in the amount of 3 million euros.
As it is known, the clause does not allow for the option to decline an offer from a club. It remains only to agree with the player himself. And so, last night Krupsky weighed all the "for" and "against", and agreed to the terms of the personal contract proposed by Metalist 1925.
The clubs still need to discuss the mechanism and timing of the payments. If nothing extraordinary happens, Krupsky will start the second part of the championship as a player in the First League.
