Manchester City has reached an agreement with Lens for the transfer of 20-year-old defender Abdulkodir Khusanov. The English club will pay 40 million euros plus additional bonuses, journalist Fabrizio Romano reports.

According to the source, Khusanov has already flown to England for his medical examination. The contract for the 20-year-old defender will be valid until June 2029.

Khusanov has been playing for Lens since 2023, which purchased the Uzbek player from the Belarusian club Energetik BGU for 100 thousand euros. In the current season, Khusanov has played 16 matches for Lens across all competitions, during which he recorded one assist.

Khusanov has played 18 matches for the Uzbekistan national team.
