The portal Tribuna.com shared new details regarding the merger of Karpaty and Rukh, which was reported earlier.

In fact, the agreements include the transfers of several players from Rukh to Karpaty right now, a few more in the summer, and further collaboration in the form of signing Rukh academy players by Karpaty on preferential terms. Of course, if this suits all three parties (Karpaty, Rukh, the players themselves). You all have heard the names — just wait for the finalization of the transfer process.
2. Hryhorii Kozlovskyi is stepping down as the founder of Rukh. It is highly likely that he will take a position at Karpaty.
3. The agreements are in no way related to Kozlovskyi's issues with a tobacco factory, which are mentioned in the media, etc. No one has pushed him out of football. As far as we know, he has no financial problems.
4. Rukh will continue to exist as a professional team and will play in the premier league. They have no intention of relegating from the premier league and will try to keep their place for the next season (which is quite obvious, as the team is currently doing well in the league table).
5. The Rukh Academy will continue to operate as before. Moreover — it will even grow and improve. Significant funds are already being invested now for further improvement of the infrastructure and expansion of the academy. The main team will be formed based on young players raised in the academy, plus young Ukrainians from other systems and, likely, promising legionnaires.
6. Karpaty will develop and set an ambitious goal of at least competing for the European cups, and ideally qualifying for the Champions League. This means they will have a larger budget, more opportunities, and options for involving young players from Rukh’s system.
Rukh will operate on its own funds: prepared players — sold — function. But the club's budget will not only be formed from player sales. Rukh has the means to earn steadily for its uninterrupted functioning.
7. “Joint efforts” should create new opportunities and platforms for a higher quality development of young players from both clubs’ training systems.
