The famous British publication FourFourTwo has released a ranking of the most failed winter transfers in the history of the Premier League.

The top spot in the ranking is occupied by Mykhailo Mudryk’s transfer from Donetsk’s Shakhtar to London’s Chelsea in January 2023 for £89 million.
In second place is the loud exchange between Arsenal and Manchester United, when Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alexis Sanchez swapped clubs, which benefited no one.
The bronze position is held by Everton's January transfer in 2018, when the Toffees bought Cenk Tosun from Beşiktaş for £27 million.
