24-year-old defender of Polish club "Kotwica Kołobrzeg" Oleksandr Bihansky was found dead in his own home on the morning of January 10.

The footballer’s death was reported by his younger brother Jan, who is also a footballer playing for the Turkish club "Sivasspor". Currently, law enforcement is not disclosing the cause of death, but according to media reports, Bihansky may have suffered a heart attack.

Throughout his career, Bihansky played for "GKS Tychy", "Polonia" from Łaziska Górne, and "Legionovia". All these teams are from the lower divisions in Poland. There, Oleksandr displayed very good performance, and in the summer of 2024, he signed a contract with the first-league club "Kotwica Kołobrzeg". He immediately became a key player for the team and played 15 matches for them.
