The captain of «Rukh», Denys Pidgurskyi, shared his thoughts on the winter training camp of the «yellow-blacks»:
Denys Pidgurskyi (photo: fcrukh.com)— During the break, I managed to go home: I spent time with my family in my native village. The first week all players rested, and then the coaching staff sent us a list of individual tasks that each of us had to complete. Then the preparation for the camp began, as all footballers know how hard it is to get back into this work, and we must be ready for it.
It is important to gain quality physical condition, so at the camp the players work a lot on their physical form. We will pay a lot of attention to this in the first stage of our training camp, which will take place at the club's base. While in Slovenia, we will play friendlies, and the coaches will set specific tasks for us in each match. The team will need to adhere to its playing principles, and each player will try to do so.
The team is in great spirits as we haven't seen each other for a long time, so everyone was happy to see each other again. Before the start of the camp, we had communication with the club management and the coaching staff. We defined the main goals and tasks for the second half of the season and will try to accomplish them.
