It became known why Internacional rented Vitinho from Dynamo for only six months

As already reported, the Brazilian Internacional rented midfielder Vitinho from Kyiv’s Dynamo. At the same time, the duration of the rental agreement is only until this summer. In other words, Internacional attracted the player for only the first half of the season, which starts in Brazil at the beginning of the year.

As it turned out, the reason for this decision lies in the fact that FIFA has not yet extended its temporary rule, which under the conditions of war in Ukraine allows foreign players of Ukrainian clubs to unilaterally transfer on loan to other teams (the rule does not apply to foreign footballers who joined Ukrainian teams after the start of the war).

At the moment, the expiration date of this rule is June 30, 2025. Therefore, Internacional did not have the right to rent Vitinho for a longer period.

However, if the war does not end in the coming months, FIFA will undoubtedly extend the deadlines for the relevance of the mentioned temporary rule, as it has already done twice — first in mid-2023, and then in mid-2024.

Let us remind you that Vitinho's contract with Dynamo is valid until summer 2026.
