The head coach of “Milan” Sérgio Conceição commented on the result of the match of the 20th round of the Italian Championship against “Cagliari” (1:1).
“I expected much more in all aspects. Given the quality of the team I had at my disposal, the first half was probably the worst of my 13-year coaching career, to be honest. We lacked intensity, the pace was too slow.
The second half was better; we had 25 shots on goal. “Cagliari” started wasting time - I understand that this is part of the strategy in Italy. It's not an excuse, nor is fatigue from the Super Cup. We should have done more, but those are factors I cannot ignore,” quotes Conceição Football Italia.
