The next cycle of the European Championship for youth teams, Euro-2027 U-21, will start on February 6 with the draw for the group stage of the qualifiers, in which the national team of Ukraine will also participate.

For now, it can be said that this year, three windows are planned for the qualifying matches — in September (1-9), October (6-14), and November (10-18). Candidates to host the final tournament are Serbia and Albania (joint bid), but the official announcement of the organizers will be made at the UEFA Executive Committee meeting in a few weeks.
Additionally, based on the results of Euro-2027 U-21, participants for the 2028 Olympics from the UEFA zone will be determined.
Let’s remind that this summer the youth national team of Ukraine under the guidance of Unai Melgosa will compete in the final tournament of Euro-2025 U-21 in Slovakia, where within the group stage they will play against Denmark (June 12), Finland (June 15), and the Netherlands (June 18).
