FC “Dynamo” (Kyiv) deeply regrets the death of former Ukrainian footballer and coach Mykhailo Stelmakh, who passed away at the age of 58.

He was a product of Lviv football, starting his career at Irpin “Dynamo.” He joined Kyiv “Dynamo” in 1988 and played for our club until 1989. Later, he played for other Ukrainian clubs — Drohobych “Halychyna,” Donetsk “Shakhtar,” Lviv “Karpaty,” Mykolaiv “Evis,” Kyiv “CSKA-Borisfen,” and CSKA, as well as Poltava “Vorskla.” He also had experience playing for the Serbian “Spartak” from Subotica.

After finishing his playing career, he worked in the coaching staff of Kyiv CSKA, managed FC “Kharkiv” and “Dinas.” The last place of work for Mykhailo Stelmakh was “Skala 1911” from Stryi, where he was the assistant head coach.

FC “Dynamo” (Kyiv) expresses deep sorrow over the death of Mykhailo Stelmakh and sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased.
