A great sorrow has come to the football family of Ternopil region — the president of FC “Podillia” (Vasylkivtsi), Mykhailo Olehovych Koval (born on November 18, 1990), has died in the war. A great loss and pain for the Koval family, the "Podillia" team, the Vasylkivtsi community, and all of Ternopil region.
The Football Association of Ternopil Region expresses its deepest condolences to relatives, friends, close ones, and all who knew Mykhailo. Eternal memory! Rest in peace! Heroes do not die!” — the message states.
