Shakhtar footballer leaves the club

Shakhtar forward Kevin Kelsey will become a player for Portland Timbers. This was reported by journalist Daniel Nora on his Twitter page.

According to the source, Portland Timbers and Shakhtar have closed the deal for Kelsey’s transfer, agreeing on a fee of 6 million dollars for the forward.

Last year, Kelsey played on loan for another MLS representative — Cincinnati, but the club decided not to buy out his deal from the miners.

Additionally, it should be noted that Shakhtar acquired Kelsey in 2023.
