According to the Gunners' press service, thorough examinations, scans, and medical conclusions confirmed that the Brazilian has suffered a tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. In the coming days, the 27-year-old footballer will undergo surgery and will soon begin a rehabilitation program.
