The Appeals Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation upheld the two-match disqualification of the controversial Real Madrid midfielder Vinícius Júnior. This is reported by Marca.
“The Appeals Committee concluded that the sanction imposed by the Disciplinary Committee, which entails a two-match disqualification, fully complies with the law. The Appeals Committee decided to reject the appeal submitted by Real,” the statement said.
As a reminder, Vinícius Júnior received a straight red card in the La Liga match against Valencia for pushing the opponent’s goalkeeper in the neck.
