On Thursday, January 16, Kyiv’s «Dynamo» played another friendly match during their mid-season training camp in Turkey. This time, the opponent of Alexander Shovkovsky’s team was the Bulgarian «CSKA 1948».

«Dynamo» clearly worked on playing as the second team in the first half (presumably, with an eye on the match against «Galatasaray» in the Europa League), but «CSKA 1948» was not prepared for this. However, just in the 4th minute of the match, the Bulgarian team came very close to scoring: Neshcheret saved a long shot, Dimitrov followed up and hit the post of «Dynamo»'s goal.
Subsequently, the game continued without dangerous moments, but at the 29th minute of the match, the Kyiv team managed to open the scoring. In a counterattack, the «white-blues» Tymchyk sprinted down the right flank, set up Vanat one-on-one with the «CSKA 1948» goalkeeper, and after the confrontation, the ball bounced to Shaparenko, who had no trouble scoring into the empty net — 1:0. Four minutes later, a penetrating attack by «Dynamo» ended with a pass from Vivcharenko to Vanat, who, from the edge of the penalty area, tapped the ball into the net of «CSKA 1948» — 2:0.
In the remaining part of the first half, «CSKA 1948» continued to search for themselves in the game against «Dynamo», but ended up getting nothing from this search. Thus, the teams went into halftime with a score of 2:0 in favor of «Dynamo».
The second half began with two quick goals. First, «CSKA 1948» scored — Ilievski converted a one-on-one opportunity, making it 2:1. But less than a minute later, «Dynamo» responded: in a counterattack, Buyalsky broke into the «CSKA 1948» penalty area, played to Voloshin, who outplayed his opponent and calmly sent the ball into the net of the Bulgarian team — 3:1.
Despite such an explosive start to the second half of the match, the game continued without much sharpness thereafter. It wasn’t until the 62nd minute of the match that the next scoring opportunity arose: a «CSKA 1948» attack ended with a shot from Alexandrov from the edge of Dynamo's penalty area, after which the ball hit the crossbar of Neshcheret's goal.
However, the Kyiv team managed to develop their success: in the 76th minute of the match, Voloshin broke through the right flank, entered the penalty area of «CSKA 1948», played into the goalkeeper's area to Vanat, who finished off the combination — 4:1. The match ended with this score.
We remind that the match against «CSKA 1948» was already the second sparring for «Dynamo» on Thursday, January 16: that morning the Kyiv team played against Slovenian «Maribor» (2:0).
Now, in the schedule of friendly matches, «Dynamo» will have a short break, as on the upcoming Tuesday, January 21, Alexander Shovkovsky’s team will face a match in the 7th round of the main stage of the Europa League against Turkish «Galatasaray», which will take place in Istanbul.
