The U-19 Shakhtar canceled a friendly match against the Tajikistan national team (U-17) during their training camp in Turkey.

As reported by Tribuna.com in the club, the reason was a match previously played by the opponent against the Russians. The "Miners" refused the friendly game upon learning this.

In 2023, the junior Tajikistan national team participated in the Development Tournament in Belarus, where they faced the Russia U-16 team.
