The author of the anniversary goal from a penalty in the Ukrainian championship was the forward of "Veres"

In the match of the 14th round of the UPL "Veres" - "Oleksandriya", the home team’s striker Mykola Haiduchyk converted a penalty and became the author of the 1400th goal from the 11-meter mark, scored specifically by Ukrainian footballers throughout the history of the Ukrainian championship.

Overall, players with Ukrainian citizenship have taken 1856 penalties, successfully converting 1403 (932 at home, 471 away).

Among clubs, the largest collection of penalties converted by Ukrainians is held by "Dynamo" (142), "Mariupol", "Shakhtar" (81 each), and "Dnipro" (73).
