The former head coach of Manchester United, Erik ten Hag, may take over Borussia Dortmund. This is reported by the esteemed German journalist Florian Plettenberg.
According to the source, the upcoming Champions League match against Bologna will be decisive for the current Borussia coach Nuri Sahin. In the event of a negative result, he will be dismissed, and Ten Hag will take his place.
It is known that recently the Dutch specialist, who until recently coached Manchester United, was spotted in Dortmund. The management of the German club considers Ten Hag an excellent replacement, as he can start working immediately.
Borussia is also considering the option of appointing Stuttgart head coach Sebastian Hoeness, but inviting him will cost the club 7-8 million euros — that’s the amount stated in Hoeness's contract with Stuttgart.
