38-year-old Kasper Schmeichel has extended his contract with Celtic

Celtic has announced on its official website the continuation of cooperation with goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

The Scottish club is pleased with the performance of its first-choice goalkeeper, who came in to replace another well-known goalkeeper, Joe Hart, in the summer of 2024. The new contract for the 38-year-old Dane runs until the summer of 2026.

This season, Schmeichel has started in all 34 matches for Celtic under the management of Brendan Rodgers.
