Vyacheslav Zakhovailo«Unexpected? For the overwhelming majority – yes, for me – no! I closely followed the preparation of Dynamo during the training camps. I had information about what the coaching staff was working on. Definitely, Dynamo has started to play more meaningful football with the ball.
In defensive actions, chaos reigns, there is no concentration, and there is personal error. How to overcome this? Only with money!. Performers must come who correspond to the level and ambitions of Dynamo (Kyiv). The quality of a footballer’s game is 90% determined by psychological resilience to stress. Unfortunately, I do not currently observe this quality in the defenders of Dynamo. They say that in the circus, bears are taught to ride bicycles. But serious clubs do not have time for this – to engage in theories.
In the middle of the first half, with the score 0:2 in favor of the Turks, I saw a fragment of the game that the Kyivans had practiced during the training camps. This gave me faith that everything could be corrected. During the break, substitutions were made, and two players came onto the field who turned the course of the game (Andrey Yarmolenko and Alexander Pykhalenok, – note by the editor). I won’t sing their praises and throw my hats in the air out of joy. A comeback draw is the work of a professional player.
