A reputable German journalist hinted that Zinchenko is close to a transfer to Borussia Dortmund

Arsenal defender Alexander Zinchenko is close to a move to Borussia Dortmund. This was reported by renowned German journalist Florian Plettenberg.

Plettenberg had previously stated that Borussia and Arsenal are in active negotiations for a deal that would involve a loan with an option to buy for the player. Zinchenko himself is also interested in the move to the Dortmund club.

Now Plettenberg has commented on his own post, adding an emoji, thus hinting that the parties are close to finalizing the transfer.

Recall that Zinchenko's contract with Arsenal ends in the summer of 2026.
