The sports director of the Royal Belgian Football Association, Vincent Mannart, commented on the appointment of Rudi Garcia as the new head coach of the Belgian national team.
Rudi Garcia (photo: rbfa.be)— We were looking for a coach with the necessary international experience, who has achieved excellent results at the highest level in the past and who can instill a winning mentality in the players. I found these qualities in Rudi Garcia. With him, we want to bring new drive to the “Red Devils,” find the right balance between youth and experience, bring fans and players closer together again, and secure qualification for the 2026 World Cup,” said Mannart.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian national team will play against the Belgian national team for the right to advance to Division “A” of the Nations League on March 20 and 23.
