English journalist Charles Watts does not consider the transfer of Ukrainian Oleksandr Zinchenko a necessary step for Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta and Oleksandr Zinchenko— He feels that he is one of many players on the team, and I don’t want anyone to leave the club. But I think that Zinchenko is a player we could manage without. I know it’s madness that he will leave without ever having played in the ‘eight’ position in Arsenal’s lineup. But I’m not very disappointed about it.
Yes, it wouldn’t be bad to see him in that position at some stage. But I’m not devastated by it. Because I don’t think he would have played any key role in winning any trophy,” explained Watts.
