Ukrainian forward of the English Sunderland, Nazarii Rusin, has joined the Croatian Hajduk on loan. This was announced on the official websites of both clubs.
Nazarii Rusin (left) during the contract signing with HajdukThe loan agreement is set to last until the end of the current season. Additionally, Hajduk will have the option to purchase the transfer rights for the 25-year-old player. In his new team, the Ukrainian will wear the number 77.
“In this transfer window, we wanted to find the right place for Nazarii so that he could get more playing minutes, and Hajduk represents a great opportunity for him in this regard. The combination of Rusin’s playing style with a club that is fighting for the championship title provides him with an ideal foundation at this moment in time, and we wish him all the best for the rest of the season,” commented Sunderland’s sporting director Kristian Speakman on Rusin’s transfer.
Recall that Rusin joined Sunderland in September 2023 from Luhansk Zoria. Since then, he has played 32 matches for this team in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
