Despite a number of denials, including from the president of Kyiv’s “Dynamo, Igor Surkis, Turkey insists that Trabzonspor is working on the transfer of the defender of the “white-blues” Denis Popov.
Denis PopovFotomac reports that the club from Trabzon has been having “intensive contacts” on this matter for a week and a half and continues them in its effort to finalize the transfer of the 25-year-old footballer before the winter transfer window closes. However, it does not specify who exactly these contacts are with.
We remind that, as we have reported, Dynamo has not received any offers regarding Popov. The defender's contract with Dynamo runs until the summer of 2026, so whether Trabzonspor wants it or not, if there is a genuine desire to strengthen with Popov, it will have to start negotiations with the Kyiv club, not with the player's agents.
