The head coach of “Chornomorets”, Oleksandr Babich, compared the level of the Ukrainian championship with that of Bulgaria.

“I can say that even during the war, the UPL is tactically better compared to Bulgarian clubs, where everything is chaotic and relies on the individual qualities of players. On the other hand, football in Bulgaria is more open. There are players of quite a decent level who would not get lost in the UPL.
I won’t speak about “Ludogorets”. There are quite interesting players in teams like “Arda” and “Beroe”, which has investors from Argentina, and they are developing a Red Bull system to refine players from Latin America in Eastern Europe and then sell them.
Each of these clubs employs an Argentine coach,” said Babich.
