Cherkasy LNZ continues its training camp in Spain. The "Violets", recently headed by the famous Ukrainian coach Roman Grigorchuk, are experiencing some personnel issues.

As reported by Sport.ua, the Nigerian forward of the Cherkasy team, Francis Momo, did not arrive in Estepona (Spain) — the player refuses to play for the Cherkasy team in the second half of the UPL season due to the war in Ukraine.

According to the source, the Nigerian forward is currently in his homeland. The LNZ management is trying to resolve the situation, but the likelihood of the forward returning to LNZ is quite low.

Francis Momo joined LNZ in the summer of 2024 from the Swiss club "Grasshopper". Momo's current contract with LNZ expires in the summer of 2027.
