The sports director of Munich’s Bayern, Christoph Freund, commented on the negotiations with Joshua Kimmich regarding a new contract.

I am confident that eventually he will decide to stay with us. We do not have specific deadlines, but we do not want to drag this on forever," Freund said to Sky Sports.
It should be noted that Joshua Kimmich's current contract with Bayern is valid until the summer of 2025.
