The preparatory camp of Kyiv’s “Dynamo” continues in Turkey. The “white-blues” were among the first Ukrainian teams this year to start their pre-season preparations, however, by the end of January, many UPL clubs traditionally gathered on the southern Turkish coast, training and playing friendly matches nearby.

While most Ukrainian clubs will hold their first official matches of the season only at the end of February, for “Dynamo,” the playing year has already begun with a match of the 7th round of the main stage of the Europa League against “Galatasaray” (3:3) in Istanbul, which took place on Tuesday. Next up is another final match for the Kyiv team in this European Cup season, which started for the team back in July.
Although the “white-blues” no longer have a chance to advance to the next round, the team is preparing with full responsibility for the last round match against the Latvian club RFS, striving to play not only for European Cup points but also for prestige.
On Sunday, the team faced a busy schedule. Due to heavy precipitation and a thunderstorm that hit Belek the night before, the training was moved to another field that is also located nearby the hotel where the Dynamo youth team trains.
After a brief warm-up, the team quickly transitioned to ball work. Initially, the coaches suggested an interesting competitive exercise for the players. Divided into groups, the footballers took turns passing the ball, keeping it in the air, while the group that lost it had to do push-ups on the field.
During another competitive exercise, each of the four groups, after passing the ball through each of their players in a specific order, had to be the first to hit the small goal.
Then the team worked on control in squares. After that, the game on large goals began. The training concluded with finishing work, where goalkeepers received a significant amount of work.
On Monday, the team's program includes theoretical and practical sessions. And on Tuesday, Dynamo players will hold a morning training session before heading to Hamburg, where on Thursday, a Europa League match against RFS from Riga will take place.
