Midfielder of Kyiv's Dynamo Georgiy Tsitaishvili, who has been playing on loan for Spanish club Granada since the beginning of the season, played another match for his current team.
Georgiy TsitaishviliThe 24-year-old footballer was in the starting lineup for Granada in yesterday's Segunda match (the second tier of Spanish football) against Sporting Gijón (3:1) and spent 86 minutes on the field.
Tsitaishvili did not manage to score any goals, but in one episode he was very close to doing so: at the beginning of the second half, Tsitaishvili received a pass on the right flank, burst into the penalty area, "faked out" the opponent, and made a spectacular shot into the far corner, but the ball hit the post.
It should be noted that this season Tsitaishvili has played 23 matches for Granada, scoring one goal and providing two assists. The Georgian legionnaire's loan at the Spanish club ends next summer, while the midfielder is contracted with Dynamo until the summer of 2026.
