The Deputy General Director of Karpaty, Oleg Avdysh, spoke about the interest of Brazilian club Palmeiras in midfielder Alexander Pikhalyonok from Kyiv’s Dynamo when he was playing for Dnipro-1.
Alexander Pikhalyonok“The current chief scout of Karpaty, Gleb Korneenko, when he was the chief scout of Dnipro-1, offered Pikhalyonok to Palmeiras, with which he has a great relationship, as he communicates directly with the club's sports director and management.
“Palmeiras was then looking for a player for the ‘eight’-‘ten’ position with a profile like Pikhalyonok's. And this club was indeed considering his candidacy in their long lists,” Avdysh said on the YouTube channel TaToTake.
