On Wednesday, January 29, the youth team of «Dynamo» held another friendly match during their training camp in Turkey. The Dynamo players faced a representative of the third division of the Bulgarian championship — «Fratria» from the city of Varna.
The «white-blues» took the initiative from the first minutes and regularly created danger near the opponent's goal. Igor Kostiuk’s team took the lead in the 22nd minute when they clearly converted a penalty awarded for a foul against Zadorozhny in the opponent's penalty area — it should be noted that the injured party executed the penalty themselves — 1:0. Our guys scored again just a few minutes later, when after a cross from the left flank, Herich redirected the ball into the net from the goal area — 2:0.
The rest of the goals were scored by the «white-blues» after the break. Moreover, as soon as the second half of the match began, the Kyivans scored twice in a row, with Herich being the author of the goals, achieving a hat-trick. First, he found the back of the net from near the left corner of the penalty area, getting close to the goalkeeper and outmaneuvering him. Shortly afterwards, he intercepted the ball from the Bulgarian defenders and from the outskirts of the penalty area, sent an accurate shot past the goalkeeper.
Thus, by the 49th minute, the score was already 4:0. Another goal came from the Ukrainians in the 66th minute: Bilyi received a pass from a teammate on the penalty area line, outplayed a defender, and directed the ball into the right corner of the goal — 5:0.
The final score was established by Osipenko already in stoppage time: the Bulgarians made a mistake during a goal kick, the Dynamo players intercepted the goalkeeper's pass to their partner, and Osipenko tapped the ball into the empty net from close range.
As a result, a confident victory for «Dynamo U-19» − 6:0. It should be noted that the «white-blues» continue to prepare for the UEFA Youth League playoff match against the Italian «Atalanta», as well as for the resumption of the season in the U-19 championship of Ukraine.
