Borussia Dortmund has officially announced the appointment of Niko Kovac as the new head coach of the team, reports the press service of the "Bees".

The 53-year-old specialist, who was born in Berlin, signed a contract with Borussia until June 30, 2026. Niko will officially start his duties on Sunday after the Borussia match against Heidenheim,” the club’s statement said.
It is worth mentioning that Niko Kovac's previous club was the German team Wolfsburg.
