Former midfielder of Lviv's Carpathians, Igor Khudobyak shared his expectations for the match between Dynamo and RFS in the Europa League.
Igor Khudobyak— I expect that Dynamo will finally secure their first victory in the Europa League, and Ukrainian fans will be satisfied. But this is football, and the result can be anything. The main thing is that the Kyiv players have rested and reloaded after a good match against Galatasaray.
I believe that Dynamo should win against RFS, as the comeback against the Turks has energized the players and boosted their confidence. However, a victory against the Latvians will leave a bitter aftertaste in the Europa League. After all, this tournament has not gone well for Kyiv, and ultimately defeats will come to the forefront.
Dynamo will dominate, create chances, just as Ajax did in their match against RFS, but they failed to capitalize on their opportunities. Of course, Yarmolenko deserves a spot in the starting lineup after his brace against Galatasaray, but we need to consider his physical condition after the injury.
