The Ukrainian forward of "Roma," Artem Dovbik, compared himself to two well-known forwards who also played for the Romans at their time—Bosnian Edin Dzeko and Belgian Romelu Lukaku.

“I know that I am compared to Dzeko. Before coming to Italy, I talked to him, and he explained to me how difficult it is to be a forward in Rome. It is a city that lives football 24 hours a day, and the fans want you to score in every game. I understand this, and I expected it, but even Dzeko had some issues in his first season at 'Roma.' Over these months, I have learned a lot and now feel confident.
Perhaps I am something in between Lukaku and Dzeko. I watched Romelu in his first year at 'Inter,' when he scored a lot of goals and provided many assists. I like his style; we have some similarities. But personally, I adapt to the playing style of the team, to what it demands of me. For example, if I can help by holding the ball and playing to my teammates, I am fine with that. As for goals, based on my style of play as a forward, I have a better chance of scoring when the ball is often delivered from the flanks to the goal,” Dovbik’s words are quoted by “Il Messaggero.”
