A working meeting of leaders of various UAF departments with representatives of regional associations was held at the House of Football in the capital.
Photo: UAF press serviceAmong the topics covered by the participants of the event, great attention was paid to the development of children's and youth football as well as women's football. The leaders and representatives of various departments of UAF spoke about changes and reforms and familiarized participants with future plans.
It was emphasized that UAF has big ambitions regarding the comprehensive involvement of regional associations in new important areas of work in the field of training specialists, developing children's, youth, women’s and girls' football, as well as in implementing UEFA and UAF initiatives for the development of mass football.
“Today's meeting is an important step towards strengthening interaction and coordination among all those working for the development of football in the regions. On behalf of the leadership, I express gratitude for the work done in each region, especially those operating in difficult conditions, in frontline territories. Despite all challenges, you continue your activities for the development of Ukrainian football.
The main goal of the meeting is not only to discuss current issues but also to familiarize ourselves with new people in the UAF team who are responsible for various areas. We strive for such meetings to become regular, and we will hold them at least once a year. Additionally, the Regional Assembly operates monthly to exchange experiences. As the coordinator of this initiative, I assure you: we are open to proposals, looking for new formats, and striving to become the most effective organization in the public sector. And I believe we will achieve this together — thanks to our joint work,” noted UAF Secretary General Ihor Hryshchenko.
