Famous Ukrainian coach Mykola Pavlov explained the need for reforming the Ukrainian Cup draw.
Mykola Pavlov— UPL clubs do not lack matches, meanwhile clubs from the first, second, and even amateur leagues want to spend more time in the national Cup draw. Currently, we have a preliminary stage where a team plays one match, loses - and that’s the end of their participation in the Cup. The competition itself lasts nearly a year. I believe experts will look for a format that allows teams to play more matches in the preliminary stages. Whether it will be groups or some complex playoff format — we will see, — said the expert.
