Tottenham’s central defender Radu Draghusin suffered a severe knee injury during the last group stage match of the Europa League against Elfsborg (3:0).

“Football gives incredible moments, but also challenges — some tougher than others. Unfortunately, I am facing one of those challenges: a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of my right knee,” the Romanian wrote on his Instagram page.

According to The Athletic, Draghusin underwent surgery in London, and thus his current season is over.
