On February 6 at 10:00 Kyiv time, the draw ceremony for the Euro-2027 U-21 qualifying tournament will begin.
Ukrainian youth national team news53 teams will participate in the 2027 European Championship for youth teams, two of which, Albania and Serbia, have already secured their spots in the final tournament as hosts. Liechtenstein has not entered the qualification, and Russia has been excluded from the competition by the UEFA Executive Committee's decision.
Thus, 51 teams will compete in the qualifiers. According to the UEFA ranking (based on results in the qualification and final tournaments of Euro-2021, Euro-2023, and the qualification for Euro-2025), the teams have been distributed across six pots. Ukraine is in the first pot.

Pot 3: Slovenia, Finland, Sweden, Austria, Slovakia, Greece, Iceland, Hungary, Bulgaria.
Pot 4: Scotland, Wales, Israel, North Macedonia, Turkey, Kosovo, Northern Ireland, Faroe Islands, Moldova.
Pot 5: Belarus, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Luxembourg.
Pot 6: Estonia, Malta, Armenia, Andorra, Gibraltar, San Marino.
Nine groups will be formed: six of them will have six teams each, and three will have five.
16 teams will compete in the final part of Euro-2027 U-21: Albania, Serbia, and another 14 teams that will join them based on the qualifying results (nine group winners, the best team among the second-place teams, and four playoff winners, in which eight second-place teams will play).
